Business delegation from Slovenia visited the DISCOVERER supercomputer

Sofia Tech Park had the pleasure to host a high-ranking business delegation from the Republic of Slovenia. The main purpose of the visit was to explore opportunities for cooperation between the two countries in the field of research and innovation and as part of this to showcase the capabilities of the supercomputer Discoverer.

Discoverer’s Chief Operating Officer, Kiril Kirilov, showed the guests around and during the talks highlighted the importance of supercomputers in driving economic growth and Discoverer’s ability to perform sophisticated simulations and analysis in a variety of fields including medicine, climate and finance.

The visit of the Slovenian delegation to Sofia Tech Park was a successful opportunity to demonstrate the capabilities of the Discoverer supercomputer and foster links between researchers from Bulgaria and Slovenia. We look forward to continuing to strengthen these relationships and explore new opportunities for collaboration in science and technology.
